Marc Roberts
Marc M. Roberts
joined Associated Pension Consultants (APC) in 1983. He is
President/Principal of the firm and manages the office in Sacramento, CA.
He completed undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis and
earned a Masters Degree in Finance from California State University, Sacramento.
Mr. Roberts consults with
large companies, small business clients and individual professionals about
retirement plan design and implementation. His consultation services frequently
include problem solving for clients with difficult retirement plan issues. He is
frequently invited to speak on retirement plan issues at conferences and
seminars for accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals, investment
advisors and professional associations.
Mr. Roberts is
the immediate past President of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) and serves
on the national NIPA Board of Directors based in Chicago, IL. He is also an
active member of the Western Pension and Benefits Conference (WP&BC) and the
Profit Sharing Council of America (PSCA). In his continuing support of
retirement education, Mr. Roberts is a founding member of the Board of Directors
of the American Institute of Retirement Education based in Washington, D.C. He
is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Employee Benefits Roundtable
of Sacramento and of the Board of Directors of WP&BC.
Mr. Roberts resides in
Cameron Park, CA with his wife, Darlene, and their daughters, Kelly and
Danielle. He enjoys golfing, snow skiing and fishing.

Matt
Blofsky, APA
Matt Blofsky joined Associated Pension Consultants (APC) as a Pension Administrator in 1985 and
he is Vice President and Principal of the firm. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, Chico. He became an Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) in 1995.
Mr. Blofsky is well respected for his technical expertise in defined benefit plans, 401(k) plan design and administration, and Internal Revenue Service issues affecting retirement plans. He has been instrumental in the
developing the solid integrity for which APC is known.
Mr. Blofsky is actively involved in the
American Society of Pension
Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA). He is a frequent guest speaker on retirement plan issues at conferences and seminars presented to accountants, attorneys, insurance agents, stockbrokers, and professional associations.

John Olsen, QPA
John Olsen joined Associated Pension Consultants (APC) in 2005 as Vice President of Operations. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from West Texas State University. Mr. Olsen earned the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) in 1999.
Mr. Olsen has been in the pension/retirement plan industry for more than 15 years. He spent 12 of those years with a large, national pension firm in the Midwest; and as Director of Operations, he was a key contributor to the growth of the company. More recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer of another Midwest pension firm. Mr. Olsen’s goals and objectives are focused on providing the best possible operational procedures to benefit clients through timely and accurate transactions and reporting.
Mr. Olsen recently relocated to Chico from his home state of Minnesota. In the past, he experienced European cultures living in Germany for five years and in England for two years. Among his many hobbies are scuba diving, travel, golf and motorcycling.
